Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and in the spirit of fellow civil rights champions, such as former Congressman John R. Lewis, Fanny Lou Hamer, Caesar Chavez, I ,_________________, pledge a new intensity to carry forth his Dream “to make real the promises of democracy… to walk in the sunlit path of racial justice” and to advance the cause of voting rights in every way possible. I vow to Vote in the next elections in 2025 and 2026! I will protest any and all efforts to weaken voting rights under the 1965 Voting Rights Act. I will press for the passage of new federal voting laws (and state laws) like the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, the Freedom to Vote Act, the Native American Voting Rights Act, and the DC Admissions Act. I will fight to further protect the right to vote against voter suppression attacks including the spread of voter discouragement misinformation and disinformation throughout the nation. I will do everything in my power to #ProtectOurVote!
